Introductory modelling course with a passionate artist Activity

Painter and sculptor, I love to share my passions! To allow each one to discover the artist in him, to learn to trust himself through playful techniques. I will welcome you in my typical workshop in the heart of Old Lyon.

Everyone comes to learn about different forms of creativity, to discover colours, shapes and materials: this is what this introductory modelling course offers, open to all.

I will guide you during this initiation to modelling.

I will explain to you the different clays (smooth, chamotte, colours...) and techniques used (the full, the colombin, the plate...). Then, you will discover the tools used, engobes and firing methods (traditional oven but also primitive firing). Let your creativity flow.

You will be able to start making your work: don't be afraid of "I don't know what to do! ". Abstract or figurative forms will emerge from your hands using different techniques to gain confidence in your own creative world. Surprise yourself!
