SnowKite initiation (kite on snow) in Monetier Activity

Snowkiting is a sport of gliding pulled by a kite, accessible to anyone in good physical shape and aged at least 7 years (with parental authorisation) and with a FFVL licence (available on site from 6€).

Skis or Snowboard? Beware! Skiing is the easiest and most fun way to start the activity, for reasons of comfort, balance and stability, when standing still and in light wind conditions.

Snowboarders and kitesurfers we strongly advise you to try snowkiting, at least for the first hour on skis.

Located at the Col du Lautaret since 2006, we welcome beginners and experienced instructors to help you progress in the respect of our environment and safety rules. You will evolve in a space dedicated to the practice of kiteboarding, supervised by qualified instructors.

You will be welcomed at the school's " Chalet " at the Col du Lautaret, on the car park of the Hôtel des Glaciers.

Activity possible from December 11th to May 1st.

Equipment: The school provides all the kiteboarding equipment (helmet, radio, harness, kite) adapted to your level, your morphology, the strength of the wind and the snow conditions.

You must bring your own equipment (ski or snowboard + boots, ski clothes, water, sunglasses and sun cream, a change of warm clothes).
