Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, visit the various fairground markets to stock up on fresh produce, before participating in a cooking workshop using a wood fire on Sainte-Suzanne.
A festive and gourmet day in perspective.
1st step: Fairground market
From 8am, you will visit the fairground market to find the best vegetables, spices, meat and fish. You will take the opportunity to exchange with the fairgrounds in these markets. An expert will guide you to the best products on the island.
2nd step: Creole cooking workshop
Everyone takes back their vehicles to get to Sainte Suzanne. There, everyone will participate in the preparation of the lunch, from the folding of the samoussa, to the tissons cake, passing by the traditional rougail tomatoes and the curry on the wood fire.
3rd step: Creole lunch
Aperitif composed of chilli candies, samoussas, and fresh fruit juices.
Two courses: meat and fish with rice.
The dishes made up are, of course, adaptable from the morning, according to everyone's wishes.
