Oenology workshop - Discovering wines Activity

Tasting of several French wines with different flavours and textures: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Côtes du Rhône, Loire, Beaujolais, Provence,... depending on the theme.

On the programme:

- Aroma game with an olfactory awakening of the senses (recognition of scents, aromatic journey of the wines, etc.),

- Theoretical and technical knowledge: grape variety, production, harvesting, vinification, blending: key to the finesse and balance of the wines,

- Commented tasting: visual, olfactory and gustatory analysis with cold meats and cheese,

- Food and wine matching,

- Conditions of storage and service,

- The words to say it.

To go a little further into the world of wine, this workshop allows you to locate the main regions, appellations, grape varieties, terroirs, and to identify the characteristics of the wines offered for tasting.

In a new wine cellar in Etang Salé les Hauts.

At the end of this workshop, it becomes possible to understand the techniques of wine making, the subtleties of blending, the different aromatic palettes of the appellations, as well as their different structures and their capacity for ageing.
