Tree climbing for children Activity

The "moulinette" activity!

The "moulinette" consists of climbing up the tree using the branches in complete safety. A wooden ladder is installed on the first branches and allows access to the tree crown.

The rope runs through a ring at the top and as the climber progresses, the belayer takes up the slack with a self-locking knot.

Once the climber has reached his goal, the belayer brings him down and the roles can be exchanged. Ideal for a first session, this workshop allows you to work on your self-confidence and that of your partner in addition to direct contact with the tree.

Possible options: Games and sensory activities in the trees (puzzles, creation of a natural setting, awakening the senses), Slackline, snacks, sensory climbing (blindfolded, barefoot, etc.)

Human resources: 1 instructor for 8 participants.

Equipment: 8 harnesses, 10 semi-static ropes, 10 webbing rings, a trampoline, a swing, 3 hammock chairs, 2 hammocks, 20 carabiners, 2 rope ladders, 4 slacklines.

Age of participants: 6 years and over
