Manual workshops to understand the stars while having fun (Children) Activity

Guided by an astronomer, set out to meet the stars by learning to read the sky, from scientific astronomy to the telling of its legends.

During an original and rare workshop, embark on a wonderful journey through time and space.

The shepherdess offers several fun and educational activities to meet the stars, adapted to adults and children.

Here are the different manual workshops available:

- Sky chart - Duration 1 hour

Learn how to make and use your own sky map to discover the sky. For adults and children from 8 years old.

- Celestial watch: What if the stars were to "tick"? - Duration: 30 minutes

The dream of all poets and dizzy night owls: to know how to tell the time according to the position of the stars. During this workshop, children (from 8 years old) will learn how to make their own paper watch.

- Model of the solar system - Duration 2H

Between artistic creation and observation of the surface of the planets, this workshop, accessible to children from 8 years old, is an opportunity to learn about our closest neighbours and to leave with a model of the solar system.

- Water rockets - Duration 2H

The apprentice cosmonauts will discover how to get their self-built rocket off the ground by learning the basic principles of propulsion and terrestrial attraction.

- The Sundial - Duration 1 hour

Know the exact time, to the nearest ray!

During this incredible workshop, children (from 6 years old) will be able to build their own sundial, an ancestral emblem of the region.

A fun activity to learn about the movement of the Earth in relation to the Sun, and to know the time according to it.
