EXAMPLE OF A 48 hour SOLO STAGE
Reception of the trainee "at the base camp" by Denis Tribaudeau: from 16h (with parking and summary sleeping at the farm "Le Rozel" on the commune of St Geniès 24590). During the Friday evening meal (provided by us), Denis will explain his definition of what a survival situation can be. You will prepare your equipment, and Denis will show you the basic principles of survival. Management of priorities, dangers, objectives, etc...
Workshops assembly and manufacture of traps, assembly and manufacture of an emergency shelter.
7:30 a. m. Awakening: Breakfast (coffee included) and conditioning, stress management.
8h30: Departure from the "base camp": introduction to orientation techniques in the middle of nature, observation of vegetation, recognition of plants and fruits edible and toxic, collection and transport of water, animal tracks etc...
12h00: Arrival at the bivouac: chestnut forest, pines and oaks...) Choice of a suitable place to go up the bivouac. Learning about the main assembly principles and techniques for making a shelter. Learning to make a fire (the 5 basic techniques without matches or lighters). Situation setting and division of tasks.
15h30: Learning to make drinking water: technique used to purify water.
16h30: Learning to manufacture and handle weapons and traps (arc, arrow, etc.).
17h30: Start of an expedition: Edible plants picking, training in hunting techniques, collection of edible insects, setting traps...
18h30: Lunch around the fire consisting solely of the fruits of fishing, hunting and gathering in the afternoon.
8:00 p. m.: Evening vigil: stories, impressions of the day, emotional intelligence management, reminder of the various techniques learned during the day. Initiation to the recognitions of the main constellations to orientate oneself with the stars, night walk without a lamp in the forest.
07h30: Alarm clock
08h30: Start of an expedition: Edible plants picking, training in hunting techniques, collection of edible insects, setting of traps, etc...
09h30: Lunch around the fire: stories, impressions during the night, reminder of the various techniques. Initiation and sensitization to first aid gestures. Manufacture of stretchers and transport of an injured person.
12.00pm: Camp break, site rehabilitation. Awareness-raising on respect for the environment. How to behave with fire.
12h30: Departure from the bivouac in complete autonomy: Initiation to the orientation in full nature with map and compass. Take a course, read a map, etc...
14h30: Return to the gîte: shower, comfort, debriefing etc... (buffet and coffee free).
16h30: End of the course.
