Ubu et moi et moi - With Jean Laurent Faubourg, David Erudel and Virginie Bernard
A show that can be performed in the place of your choice: at home, in the company's premises or elsewhere.
This is the famous story of a foolish tyrant and the bloody wars he waged to his sole profit.
UBU, manipulated by his wife and with the complicity of Captain BORDURE, kills King Wenceslas to take power, forcing the queen and her fils BOUGRELAS into exile.
Once on the throne, UBU imprisons his accomplice Captain BORDURE and abuses his power of life, death and money over the nobles, magistrates and financiers as well as over the peasants. His greed pushes him to create a law to strip the people, by enriching his personal accounts with 50% of the amount of taxes.
However, UBU King has to watch out for Captain BORDURE, who has escaped and is going to seek the help of the "Czar" of Russia, who sends his army. UBU must resolve to fight.
While he is at war, mother UBU tries to steal the treasure of the kings of Poland, but she is driven from the throne by BOUGRELAS and has to flee.
Mother and Father UBU, both defeated, find themselves in a cave. Surrounded by the army led by BOUGRELAS, they flee and decide to go and live in France...
They know nothing of love, compassion, friendship, loyalty or honesty. Ubu roi is a gallery of monsters of stupidity, cruelty and cynicism.
