You would like to have a beehive in your garden, but don't know where to start? Come and learn the theoretical basics and in practice the essential technical gestures to start in all serenity.
How is a beehive organised? How to choose its location? How many hives should I have? What is the work schedule? How to manage a small hive? What are the essential tools? How to divide a hive?
During a course, the association will put all its know-how at your service to answer these questions and many others, such as when to harvest your honey...
How to set up and run a first apiary. Basic gestures, handling the frames with the bees, watching, controlling and checking that everything is going well. How to develop your swarms so that they become colonies...
After this course, the trainee will know what to do during the season and should be able to manage his hives. He will continue his training through the module "1 day in the apiary" which is free for the members of the association.
Theoretical part: 8h00 (video-projection).
Practical part in the school apiary: 8h00
