Braiding is an art!
Come and discover the art of braiding flexible plant materials such as coconut palms.
You will also discover a passionate person with whom you will have the pleasure to exchange. A craftsman passionate about the environment and travel, who cultivates the dream of recycling all the coconut palms on the island.
From the coconut leaf Christmas tree, to your purse, your fruit basket or your backpack, passing by your hat, straw-tails, or your pencil case, you will discover an infinite choice of objects to make with these leaves!
You will leave with your own woven object! Children will learn how to make jewellery, watches or rings. To create larger objects (panels for fences or screens, hats, mats...), several workshops will be necessary.
A real immersion in a forgotten craft!
From 2 participants minimum and 10 participants maximum.
Equipment: A pair of scissors and a small kitchen knife.
The workshop will take place at the location of your choice for a private workshop!
