Private lessons - Introduction to Shibari Activity

Come and discover, learn or deepen your knowledge of the basic principles and techniques of Shibari (an ancestral Japanese martial art linked to the eroticism of the other person's body through the use of ropes).

Over the course of an afternoon, you'll learn all you need to know to perform the traditional Shibari moves and any others you can think of.

During these classes, you'll discover the Japanese art of Shibari (or bondage). You'll learn the basic knots and rope transitions, the basic and more elaborate figures, and how to work with suspensions.

Don't be afraid to go beyond the clichés - students come away delighted!the aesthetic aspect will be paramount, as will the 'dialogue' that is established between the person tying and their 'model'; the ropes then become a real tool of expression.don't worry, the rules of shibari are clear: it's the person being tied who leads the dance!

In private lessons, I can be face to face with you alone. I can guide you and advise you on each passage of the rope. This means that your progress is optimised compared with a workshop or video or paper tutorials.

Private lessons and workshops are an essential and ideal way of getting into or progressing with the ropes, but are inseparable from regular personal practice. So... to your strings!
