Introduction to K-Pop (Korean music and dance) Group activity

Put some "pep" on your event by offering your colleagues an introduction to K-Pop! Or have a K-Pop choreography performed at your event.

K-pop goes beyond simple songs, as these are usually accompanied by an MV (music video/clip) and choreography.

It is these simple and playful choreographies that we offer to show and teach you.

K-pop is much more than a dance style, it is a societal way of life: from the way of dressing to the way of eating, which are turned towards the culture of South Korea.

We propose you to discover these different facets of the Korean culture and way of life, through several types of services:

- Initiations to dance

Duration: 01H30 minimum.

These initiations would consist of learning choreographies (refrains or entire dances) to a group of up to 30 people. We can also adapt these workshops in flash mob format for special occasions.

- Korean food tastings

Sweet, savoury (like fried chicken for example) and/or drink, we will make you discover the Korean culinary art.

- Thematic workshops: calligraphy and cosmetics with natural products.

- Animation / K-POP performance on your event (party, birthday...)

Performances where we interpret choreographies (on demand) on the occasion of events.

Shows of varying length from 15 minutes to 1 hour.

What is K-pop?

K-pop (korean pop) is a musical trend created in the 90s. It includes female, male and mixed groups, as well as soloists. K-pop is not a single style of music, but is made up of several musical genres mixing jazz, ballad, rock or electro. K-pop has been known worldwide for more than 10 years, especially thanks to the song "Gagnam Style", and is accompanied by choreographies that combine dancing, singing and stage expressions. What pleases in this musical style is its variety and its capacity to attract all types of fans.

Who are we?

We are K-OUEST, a dance group based in Saint Paul.

We travel all over the island according to the events.

We have been an association for more than 2 years and we have already participated in several dance competitions and performed several times. Our choreographies are based on a Korean style of music called k-pop which is very fashionable at the moment.

This association was first created to share a passion between fans and has gradually become a semi-professional dance group. We are now 13 girls members of this association, also supported by 4 leaders who constitute the office of the association.

Don't wait any longer, put a little C(h)orée in the Reunion!
