Learn about Graffiti and reproduce a work of art Group activity

With beatbox initiation as an option!

In order to discover the practice of graffiti, we propose you to take part in a collective work (at home or in a company).

You will participate in the creation of a graffiti and will put your signature on a wall next to that of one of the pioneers of graffiti in Reunion Island. A 6 m long and 2 m high graffiti.

After having traced his sketch on the wall, the artist will offer you to take the spray cans in hand in order to create his graffiti with him. You will be able to learn how to use spray paint, how to paint with a spray can, how to make a gradient, as well as all the steps involved in making a graffiti.

Ask your questions to the artist, who is not stingy with anecdotes. The perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with the history, codes and world of graffiti. At the end of this workshop you will have all the tools you need to create your own work with a spray can and take on the walls of the island.

The workshop takes place in Saint-Denis. On the outside wall of the Fabrik, 200 m from the Cité des Arts. A wall of free expression made available to artists by the town hall.

If the workshop takes place at home or in a company, the support can be adapted.

Bonus: the workshop is filmed, you will leave with a timelapse video of your creation. Bring sun cream, a cap and something to drink.

Equipment included: Bombs, gloves, masks

Allow 1 hour more if you choose the"Beatbox " option.

For a 6m long graffiti:

Minimum capacity: 5 people.

Maximum capacity: 15 people.

Possibility to do 2 graffs. Wall of about 15 m long with an extra graffiti artist:

Minimum capacity: 10 people.

Maximum capacity: 30 people

Workshop also available on your premises on other supports than a wall.
