Here are 2 workshops we can suggest for your next Team Building event in Lyon:

Workshop 1: Live model on sketchbook and easel (1h)

During this fun workshop, participants will discover the art of drawing a live model (dressed), with advice that is relaxed and accessible to all. The aim is to relax and stimulate creativity in a friendly atmosphere. Our teacher will offer academic and technical advice as well as fun and simple challenges such as:

• Not looking at the paper when drawing
• Drawing with a single stroke
• Using only geometric shapes to create the model

These simple yet fun exercises produce results that are often hilarious, even for people who have never drawn before. An excellent way to build team spirit while having fun, based on a fundamental academic drawing technique.

Workshop 2: Still life sketching (1h)

In this workshop, participants will learn how to sketch a still life, but in a modern version far removed from the clichés of 'fruit in a basket'. Here, the emphasis is on exploring solids, voids, shapes and colours. The aim is to encourage observation, harmony and conviviality, while receiving artistic advice adapted to each level.

This workshop is a fun and instructive way to explore drawing and painting, with real practical advice for participants of all levels. Enough to make you want to buy a sketchbook afterwards!

Organisation:

Duration: 2 hours, with two groups of 35 participants each.

The groups will alternate between the two workshops, changing activity after an hour.

To get your team building off to a warm start, we'll be offering a welcome drink to each participant. It's a great opportunity to break the ice before diving into your creativity!

Capacity: 50 people maximum.

The venue: Les Ateliers Terreaux

The Ateliers Terreaux art school is a warm and welcoming place where you can take part in a wide range of artistic workshops using paints, brushes, sponges, stencils and other materials.

Located in the heart of Lyon, this space is a former ambulance garage, but was also an old puppet theatre typical of the city. Just a 1-minute walk from the Place des Terreaux, the venue can be fully or partially privatised.
