Description

Yes, Paris has its own Chinatown! A guided team tour of Paris's 13th arrondissement Chinatown!

With a Vietnamese guide, this guided tour of the largest Chinatown in Paris, and also in Europe, takes you through the buildings with their Parisian architecture and deciphers Asian culture in just a handful of hours.

There are occasional sit-down breaks to expand on certain subjects. As a result, the distance covered is fairly short.

It's more of a cultural outing on Asia than a simple tour of a district!

Accompanied by a Vietnamese guide, who has lived in France since 1972 and has lived in this 'Chinese' district since she was a teenager, this guided tour takes place in small groups, in a relaxed and good-humoured atmosphere!

We'll be talking mainly about

- 2 Buddhist temples, with lots of explanations of what we see + a church for Chinese Catholics

- 3 monumental murals

- the new 'gateway' to this Chinatown

- the various reasons why this district has become Asian

- asian traditions

- good addresses for Asian restaurants

Worth knowing:

Photographs can be taken in places of worship.

Bring shoes that are easy to remove for one of the two Buddhist temples.

If the weather is bad, don't worry: half the tour is indoors.

Departures at 10.00 in the morning and 14.00 in the afternoon.
