It is one of the largest agricultural museums in France dedicated to beekeeping, the world of bees and insects.
Much more than an apiary, a museum, or a honey house, it is a real "theme park" around the world of honey that is offered to you.
On the programme:
The Museum: The museum will introduce you to the world of beekeeping through an interactive and guided presentation of the profession. You will witness a honey extraction and then observe a colony of bees at work.
Children will also be able to enjoy a "Giant Insects" animation: Giant sculptures of insects that are predators of bees await you in the large exhibition hall, all true to their models in the smallest detail. You will find a wealth of information about their lives, habits and habitats. Thanks to our giant insect sculptures, bees, hornets and wasps will no longer hold any secrets for you.
Célestin's Mill: audiovisual show, sound and light with odorama.
You can also discover the history of the family, through what made its success: walnut oil.
Inside an old walnut oil mill, you will be able to see how it worked and how people lived in the past. A moving journey where all your senses will be stimulated.
The shop : Tastings
This place is above all 3 generations of beekeepers. With a stock of 250 hives, the honey house produces a wide variety of honeys each year. All of our production is sold directly in our shop, or used to make our home-made pastries.
This diversity of flavours is available for tasting in the estate's huge shop. A shop full of delicacies.
