Take on the mythical 3 Salazes on Réunion Island with Thierry, a High Mountain Guide.

With 25 years' experience as a state-certified high mountain guide/canyonist and first-aid mountain instructor with the PGHM, he'll be able to transcend your day and accompany you on this unique experience!

The 3 Salazes are three small points that you won't be able to miss if you're in Mafate or Cilaos. Pointing skywards, these three 'stakes' (in Malagasy) stand at 2132 m, on the ridge linking the Grand Bénare to the Gros Morne.

This ridge crossing to the 3 Salazes is a must-do alpine hike on Réunion Island. With its unique panoramic views over both the Mafate and Cilaos cirques, and the activities on offer on this day, you'll be able to challenge yourself in complete safety: climbing, abseiling, walking on the ridge, and zip-lining between two Salazes... It's a day full of thrills and spills!

Participants should be physically fit, used to hiking, not have a phobia of heights and not need any climbing experience.

Meeting time : 03:30. Return around 2.30 pm.

Meeting point: At the start of the Col du Taibit path on the road to Ilet à cordes.

What to take with you:

Take a headlamp with fresh batteries.

20 or 30 litre rucksack

Hiking clothing and wind/rain jacket
