La Fresque du Textile - CSR Workshop 2023 Group activity

This is a fun and collaborative 2.5 hour workshop with a similar pedagogy to that of La Fresque du Climat.

The aim of this "serious game" is to raise awareness and educate participants about environmental issues and the background of the textile industry.

The workshop also aims to explain the main actions to be implemented for a more sustainable fashion and to promote the "slow fashion" lifestyle without being in the "Fashion Bashing", then to open discussions between the participants on the subject.

A real team building tool, this workshop allows participants to come together to learn about sustainable digital.

part 1: Introduction and Materials - 55 min

In teams of 4 to 10, participants discover and exchange on materials, the different families and answer small quizzes.

part 2: Value Chain and Motivations - 35 min

The participants discover all the stages of the value chain and position the cards on it while answering small quizzes.

part 3: Impacts - 20 min

The participants discover the impacts of the whole industry and have the task of finding out at which stages we can find all these impacts.

part 4: Ownership, Creativity and Action - 55 min (with conclusion)

Participants come up with a title, add the arrows they think are important and write down solutions they can think of to address the problems seen earlier

Action/solution cards are proposed if these do not emerge from the proposals.

The participants exchange on the actions they have already implemented or that they wish to put in place. As an option, a household game can be played. By asking participants to think of themselves as a family and to work together to adapt their lifestyle. Based on the actions that their family has been given and that they should implement.

Capacity: This collaborative game is facilitated by a professional facilitator who can run a table with between 5 and 10 participants. It is possible to have several facilitators.

Duration: 3 hours

Requirements: 1 x 2m x 1m without chairs.
