Fleur, at the age of 6, in the company of her sister Rosa, explores the world around her: this magical world of the imagination, made up of astonishing, ancient objects, filled with past stories, great legends and mysterious discoveries.

The first questions are then born...

"At the foot of my tree" is the touching adventure of children who reinvent life and have fun with it, to try to understand it. And life is this new child who will arrive. What will become of them? And what place should he or she have?

The questions take them back to their own history, to their fathers, always absent, whose heroic letters they fantasize about, to their roots, too little known, of which they become aware little by little through old objects, from former times, which tell the story of their family.

Through their own language, that of fantasies and inventions, daydreams and dreams, the two sisters seek answers to these essential questions, the ones that build us and make us grow.

With the mischievous innocence of children of their age, Fleur and Rosa lead their young audience on a poetic exploration of origins and the place of each individual, through laughter and joy, gentleness and love.
