Why this workshop?

When we ran training courses on climate change, we found that there were 2 pitfalls holding back people from taking action to combat climate change.

2tonnes provides a response.

Feeling lost / Without reference points: knowing the main orders of magnitude and the main levers for action.

Lack motivation / Be discouraged: become aware of the importance of taking action and inspire people to take action!

One target: 2 tonnes!

In order to limit the effects of climate change, the Paris Agreement (2015) set a target: to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to 2 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year and per inhabitant by 2050.

Today, the average French person emits 9.5 tCO2e per year.

In 27 years, we must therefore divide our emissions by more than 5 to reach this target.

Principles and operation of the workshop
