A historic castle listed as a Historic Monument since 1971

Founded in 1007 by Alard d'Esnes, one of the twelve peers of the Cambrésis region, Château d'Esnes spans more than ten centuries of history. It witnessed the Crusades, the Hundred Years' War, conflicts between European kingdoms and two world wars.

Restored with passion since 1990 and taken over in 2020 by Mathilde and Maxence Pillet-Will, the estate now has a strong ambition: to make Château d'Esnes a leading cultural, tourist and events venue in the Hauts-de-France region.
