Designed and built in the Baie de Somme by La Canoterie, this 9.50 m boat is inspired by the boats of the great American and Canadian lakes.

After a little collective effort and a few paddle strokes to get out of the marina, the infinite spectacle of the bay opens up before you.

Meet the seals

A play of light and shades of blue, hundreds of birds and of course the seals lounging on the warm sandbanks waiting for the tidal bore, the first wave to announce high tide.

THE TERRACES

The South Terrace

A sunny terrace facing the river from 9am to 9pm! A rarity in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, which faces north-west.
Quiet terrace along the cycle route

The North Terrace

Covered terrace overlooking the garden and the brazier, with a view of the forest and the Baie de Somme steam train.

Whether you're looking for a sunny lunch on the terrace, dinner around the open fire or the brazier, a gourmet snack, or a complete privatisation of the premises for a private or business event, you'll be welcomed in a warm and authentic atmosphere.
A seaside restaurant, the cuisine showcases fresh seasonal produce, in particular fish and shellfish smoked by a local sausage maker.

An inspiring, unspoilt setting

The Baie de Somme estuary is impressive in many ways: around 70 km², 15 km deep and 5 km wide, from the Pointe du Hourdel to Le Crotoy.
Its unique light and colours have inspired many artists (painters, writers and designers).
The Bay is also a protected sanctuary for flora and fauna, at the heart of the Hauts-de-France Marine Nature Park. It has been recognised as a National Nature Reserve since 1994.
The Baie de Somme is also one of France's major stop-off points for migratory birds. Bodies of water, marshes, dunes and salt meadows make up this landscape between land and water, shaped by the tides.

A great creative, he imagined and designed the house and boat with the help of architects and carpenters. Restaurant manager and guide, Chris is a multi-faceted captain.
He knows the Bay like no-one else and guides all types of public with care, offering a rare and precious experience of the estuary.
