During this offbeat discovery of Lyon's famous "belly", your actor-guide (who is not in costume) will introduce you to some of the most famous characters, such as Mère Brazier and Italians from the Renaissance. They'll proudly tell you what they contributed to Lyon's cuisine. Embark on a journey through Lyon's history, back to the time of the canuts* and their famous mâchon*, or to the Renaissance, to discover tripe and macaroons!

This tour of Les Halles de Lyon is punctuated by savoury and sweet tastings: Lyonnais charcuterie accompanied by a glass of wine, local cheeses, quenelles and cardoon gratin, the unmissable praline, as well as macaroons and the famous Lyonnais cushions.
