La Fresque du Textile - CSR 2025 Workshop

Description

It's a fun, collaborative 2.5-hour workshop with a similar pedagogical approach to La Fresque du Climat.

The aim of this "serious game" is to raise awareness and educate participants about environmental issues and the downside of the textile industry.

The workshop also aims to explain the broad outlines of the actions that need to be put in place to achieve more sustainable fashion and promote the 'slow fashion' lifestyle without resorting to 'fashion bashing', and then to open up discussions between participants on the subject.

A real team-building tool, this workshop enables participants to come together to learn about sustainable digital design.

part 1: Introduction and Materials - 55 min

In teams of 4 to 10, participants discover and discuss materials and their different families, and answer short quizzes.

part 2: Value Chain and Motivations - 35 min

Participants discover all the stages in the value chain and position the cards on the chain while answering short quizzes.

part 3: Impacts - 20 min

Participants discover the impacts of the industry as a whole and are tasked with finding out at which stages of the value chain all these impacts can be found.

part 4: Ownership, Creativity and Action - 55 min (with the conclusion)

Participants come up with a title, add the arrows they think are important and write down the solutions they can think of to respond to the problems seen above

Action/solution cards are proposed if these do not emerge from the proposals.

Participants discuss the actions they have already taken or would like to take. As an option, participants can play the household game. By asking participants to think of themselves as a family and work together to adapt their lifestyles. Based on the actions that their family will have been given and that they will have to put in place.

Capacity: This collaborative game is supervised by a professional facilitator who can lead a table with between 5 and 10 participants. Several facilitators are possible.
