Welcome to VIRUS REC - 429, a life-size role-playing game where each participant embodies their own character, immersed in a world ravaged by an out-of-control experimental virus. You're not an actor, you're a survivor. And everything you do or don't do will have consequences.

Scenario:

The game takes place in real time, in a makeshift camp protected from the infected, called Camp Colibri. No escape. No outside help. The threat comes not from outside... but from within.
Rumour has it that a member of the group naturally possesses antibodies to the virus. This survivor could enable a cure to be created. But VERITAS, the company that created the virus, has infiltrated two undercover agents, determined to sabotage any attempt at a cure.

Concept:

Each player takes on his or her own role, randomly distributed on the spot, in an immersive audio and visual environment supported by projections and narration guided by a Game Master embodied as a mysterious character.
Total immersion: live, feel, act

- Your role is secret. No one knows who you are or what you can do. Not even yourself... if you are the antibody carrier.

- You'll have to collaborate, manipulate, investigate and sometimes kill to help your side triumph.

Each player has :
A main mission.
A power linked to their role.
A position in the camp to defend or infiltrate.

- Puzzles to solve, objects to manipulate and coded messages to pass on can all influence the outcome of the game. Strategy meets improvisation.

- The Game Master observes you live via cameras and control screens, embodying an omniscient presence, broadcast around the camp via video projection.

- You are operating in a safe space, but under constant tension. The infected are outside... but paranoia is everywhere.
