On the programme:

Crazy challenges, strategy, a touch of betrayal (the friendly sort, mind you), and above all… lots of laughter!

You don’t need to be a warrior: here, it’s team spirit that wins the totem, not six-packs.

Form your tribe, take on your colleagues (in a friendly spirit), and enjoy an adventure that’s 100% fun and 100% unforgettable.

Typical schedule for the activity:

A facilitator welcomes the group. (1 facilitator for up to 29 people; 2 facilitators for every 30 people)
Team allocation: scarves, team names, battle cry. Max. 10 people per team.
Throughout the activity, the facilitator tells a story. It’s a truly ‘immersive’ experience, not just a series of workshops.
The island of Tula-Hu is under a curse: it is infested with snakes (fake ones, of course).
The teams’ aim is to complete as many challenges as possible to win immunity necklaces and reach the final challenge to lift the curse.
The teams tackle the same challenges at the same time. It’s a direct head-to-head contest. It’s important to bear this in mind.

The challenges:

1: Building the camp (coordination and teamwork): build the tallest tower out of Kapla blocks.

2: The Scouts: Exploring the island (communication and coordination): guide balls from point A to point B across a surface full of holes, without falling into them.

3: Crossing the marsh ( strategy and speed): get from point A to B by walking only on ‘water lilies’. Three water lilies per team. This challenge is more visual than it is described in writing.

4: The poles (mental strength and team spirit): balance on 12 cm-long wooden slats for as long as possible. They look small, but people manage to stay on them for quite a while (5–10 mins).

5: Insect tasting (fun): grilled insects.

6: Tug-of-war (sport and pushing one’s limits): win as many rounds as possible. => This activity can only be carried out depending on how the programme is progressing in terms of timing and the size of the group.

7: Giant relay race (all-out teamwork): blindfolded participants must find hidden objects. They are guided verbally by stationary guides. The objects found have a symbol that the mimes must act out (in the style of ‘Time’s Up’). Decoders must decipher the mimes. Once everything is complete, the whole team discusses how to solve the puzzle.

Final rankings are determined.

If a participant does not wish to take part in a workshop (due to pain or other reasons), they may opt out without this penalising the team. The most physically demanding challenge is the tug-of-war, but we have pairs or groups of three competing against each other, so there’s no obligation to take part. There are never any lulls in the action, except when a break is requested.
