Whether it's a small group work seminar, a large group CSR team-building event, a company meal or even a day of fun with a private event, La Raffinerie is the place for you!

La Raffinerie at l'Hermitage, a unique and original venue, perfect for your events. Whether for business meetings, Team-Building days, creative workshops or private celebrations, our Third-Party venue offers an inspiring atmosphere and modular spaces to suit all your desires and needs.

The different areas :

La Maison - Indoor seminars & workshops

Training room - 16 people: Interactive screen + Wifi + paper board + video conferencing

In-house space - up to 40 seats
A 150m² modular space with several work areas (including the training room).

Our in-house space and training room, with its walls decorated with local works of art and its Made in La Raffinerie furniture, creates an atmosphere that is both warm and stimulating.
Here, 3 areas are available for seminars, with informal areas for sub-committees.

The Terrace

Take advantage of the outdoor facilities. Kiosks, "guinguette" tables, side tables and stools provide a privileged and flexible setting for moments of relaxation and conviviality.

The garden

A large grassy area is available for activities and workshops in the various prefabs. Each one houses a responsible workshop on recycling, sustainable development, etc.
A stage with an orchestra has already been set up for private events.

Catering available on site

• Breakfast
• Lunches: Starter, Main course (vegetarian and meat versions), Dessert
• Snacks
• Cocktail dinner: Assortment of home-made savoury and/or sweet bites with local flavours + drinks (alcohol and home-made soft drinks)

Possible CSR activities on site

• Carpentry, gardening (endemic plantations, compost, self-contained containers, aquaponics),
• CSR Frescoes (Climate Fresco, Environment Fresco, Biodiversity Fresco, etc.)
• Participative cooking workshop,
• Production of cleaning products,
• Creative workshops, sewing,
• Workshops on printing, engraving and publishing, with an introduction to 3D printers.

All our workshops are run by trained facilitators who are experts in their fields.

What is La Raffinerie?

The association La Raffinerie is a third place created and run by a collective of citizens since 2019. Its aim is to help build a future in which everyone on Reunion Island actively contributes to a balanced and sustainable society. A space for experimentation and a desire to work differently, its hybrid and collective organisation values all human involvement, from volunteers on our weekly participative workcamps to freelancers committed to running the place and the projects. Its activities are designed to create a positive dynamic between people from different backgrounds, with interaction and action based on the founding principle of "working together". A veritable ecosystem of activities, La Raffinerie is clearing the way for tomorrow's world through experimentation, resilience and cooperation.
