French Wine Tasting Workshop Activity

At home, or in a wine cellar, organise a "Discovery and tasting" workshop of the best French wines around 3 different themes: The Universe of Organic - Tasting without complexes - Burgundy of the terroirs

The Organic World: Organic, biodynamic, natural wines... Not easy to find your way around all these trends which aim to respect the environment and the health of consumers, which is being severely tested by the forced advance of the conventional food industry!

Objective: vineyard work, wine maturing... What is organic and what is not, advantages and disadvantages of organic farming, biodynamic and natural wines, market trends. in addition, 3 red and 3 white wines from different terroirs are tasted.

Tasting without complexes: Oenology, a word that often frightens neophytes. But the art of tasting, provided that a few rules of common sense are respected, is a very convivial game open to all.

Objective: a relaxed approach to the main principles, desacralizing oenology in favour of the pleasure of tasting simply by mobilizing the senses and the experience of each person. Tasting of 3 white wines and 3 red wines with marked characteristics.

Burgundy's terroirs: From Chablis to Mâcon, via the Côtes de Nuits and de Beaune, Burgundy is a dream for wine lovers the world over, but is often unknown to the general public.

Objective: to better understand an exceptional region by discovering its grape varieties, its great terroirs and their hierarchy from Northern Burgundy (Chablisien) to the Côte d'Or, to Southern Burgundy (Mâcon, Beaujolais). Tasting of 3 red and 3 white wines.

Option: additional tasting of a Grand Cru Côte d'Or (70€)
