Arranged rum workshop - Discovery, tasting & design Group activity

A team-building workshop on rhum arrangé! Ideal before your company evening or to round off your day of seminars, spend 1 to 1.5 hours in a workshop on rhum arrangé!

This workshop is designed for locals who want to improve their skills and share their knowledge of Réunionese culture!

In groups of 2, each participant will make an arranged rum, either orange/coffee or mint/lemon grass (or many other possibilities).

Each participant will taste an alcoholic rum and a non-alcoholic rum. They will go home with a bottle of arranged rum, 2 shot glasses and a booklet of 6 recipes that can be made at home.

Theprogramme will beas follows: Hosted by a mixologist.

Production of 1 rhum arrangé (explanation of how it is made: long maceration, fast maceration, ready in 7 days, etc.)

Using fresh produce (e.g. fresh papaya for rhum arrangé papaye...)

Cutting the fruit, roasting the spices then blending with the sugars and rum

Designing the arranged rum (blending)

Tasting of several arranged rums

Handing out of 1 small booklet per person with recipes and explanations on how to make it at home.

Requirements: To be provided by the venue where the workshop will take place

For the organisation of the room :

- tables

- bottles of water

- glasses.

For the workshop, the mixologist will bring all the equipment and products.
