A solidarity cooking workshop in Paris, discovering the recipes of exiled populations.

RECHO - REFUGE, CHALEUR, OPTIMISME - is a non-profit organisation that has been working since 2016 to provide a dignified welcome for exiles in France through the universal power of cooking. Through the prism of cooking, LE RECHO aims to change the way people view exiles by creating links between the people who are welcomed and those who welcome them. The association advocates an inclusive and caring society, free from fear of others; a society that puts people and the environment at the heart of its concerns.

For RECHO, cooking is a unifying language and sharing a meal is a common denominator intrinsically linked to our condition as human beings.

THE 2 POSSIBLE WORKSHOPS

• SMALL SOLIDARITY WORKSHOP

Give your employees the chance to get together and enjoy healthy, gourmet cuisine inspired by our teams' countries of origin!

In less than two hours, your employees will prepare tasty, responsible recipes for food aid, learning cooking techniques, raising awareness of the issue of exile and taking part in dynamic activities.

Typical schedule: 2h30 workshop

09:30: Welcome of employees with a drink (coffee, tea, etc.)

Presentation of the workshop, organisation and distribution of materials (aprons, booklets, equipment, etc.)

Allocation of teams to islands (starter, main course or dessert), and presentation time with the supervisory chefs.

09:45: Launch of the workshop with an ice-breaker and a culinary challenge to get the teams going!

10.15am: Together in the kitchen: your employees, guided by our integration cooks, will prepare the chosen recipes like a real brigade of solidarity.

11.45am: Packing of food for food aid (you can also take part in the "maraude")

12.00: End of the workshop.

- Preparation and tasting of the buffet: employees, cooks and RECHO team share a meal together: they taste their preparations and continue the exchange around the large buffet they have prepared.

By cooking hand in hand with our supervising chefs and cooks on integration schemes, your employees are making a commitment and taking concrete action in favour of solidarity and inclusion. A workshop that produces more than 100 healthy, tasty, low-impact meals that will warm the hearts of your teams and, thanks to food aid, help people in vulnerable situations.

Number of participants: Over 30 participants

In the kitchen: The participants are divided into 3 islands, managed by cooks on integration schemes and professional supervisors.

On the menu: Starter/Main course/Dessert based on recipes from exile.

Venue: We can suggest partner venues. Or on your premises.

Food aid: Over 150 complete meals

TASTING OPTION: In the form of a convivial buffet, participants will be able to taste dishes prepared by themselves.
