Description

A team-building event combining a group investigation, fun challenges and a live escape game, held either outdoors or indoors!
Decorating a human Christmas tree, gift toss, Christmas orienteering race – discover this fun and zany activity for your next corporate team-building event!

‘Christmas Goes Haywire’ is a zany team-building adventure, designed to turn an end-of-year seminar into a genuine group mission.
Just before the closing ceremony, disaster strikes: the official Christmas Eve sack has gone missing. It contained the end-of-year presents. Near the sleigh departure point, a message is found:
“You can’t save Christmas with vague instructions, three bits of string and a last-minute meeting.”

The teams then become Christmas detective squads.

Their mission: to tackle challenges, gather clues and identify which of the three suspects has sabotaged Christmas Eve. Marcel Traîneau, the exasperated logistics manager? Brigitte Papillote, furious about her missing treats? Kevin Pompon, upset that his electro-Christmas playlist was rejected?

The challenges

Across a choice of three challenges, the teams compete in fun, participatory tasks that are accessible to everyone:

  • Impossible Delivery: a team orienteering race where one blindfolded participant must deliver presents to the correct zones using directions from their teammates.
  • Human Christmas Tree: a collaborative creativity workshop where each team must form, decorate and present their own human Christmas tree.
  • Gift Toss: a Christmas-themed twist on pétanque, where teams throw weighted gifts into different scoring zones.
  • Big Unwrapping: a madcap gift-unwrapping race with absurd constraints: in pairs, using one hand, without speaking, or with props.
  • Reindeer Relay: a zany relay race where participants, wearing reindeer headbands, complete a course punctuated by comical obstacles.
  • Sandman Mission: if the event takes place on the beach, teams create a Christmas sandman, complete with accessories, staging and a final presentation.
  • Christmas Eve Crisis Council: a collective problem-solving challenge where teams must make the right decisions to save Christmas based on incomplete information.

Participants will need to cooperate, communicate and demonstrate team spirit.

The finale brings everyone together for a spectacular moment: each team builds its own sledge, chooses its Father Christmas and takes part in a final race that’s as fun as it is unifying.

An immersive, fast-paced and memorable Christmas activity, where there’s plenty of laughter… whilst learning to pull in the same direction.
