Description

Fun science activities all over the Paris Region. For children aged 5 to 15 and families.

Mixtures, puzzles, experiments, chemistry, challenges... Experiments for all ages and levels, to watch and try again... There's plenty of creativity too. Inclusive activities that can easily be enjoyed by the whole family.

A party? A festival? An open day? A works council event? Offer participants (aged 7 to 77) scientific experiments that they would never have experienced elsewhere.
Offer real added value that will surprise them, that they'll remember for a long time and... that they'll show their friends and family afterwards!

Our secret formula -> C'est pas Sorcier + Fort Boyard x (Harry Potter)² / √ Majax.
In other words: a little magic and mentalism, a lot of science and discovery... Tests, mysteries to solve, clues to spot, manipulations to carry out. There's plenty to laugh about, plenty to smile about, plenty to put everyone's talents to the test, and plenty to learn new things at the same time.
Indoors, outdoors, for 2 hours, an afternoon, a whole day? Whatever the space and timing, we'll adapt.

Universes on offer :

  • Mastering the elements (100% "wow" effects):
The 4 elements as you've never experienced them before. Water, air, earth and fire will be under our command! To do this, you'll need to be both observant and creative. We'll take it in turns to become pepper hunters, fire hunters, magicians and even a bit of a mad scientist.
Make drops fall in the dark, create a gas with a mixture, relight a candle without touching the wick, extinguish a candle without blowing or spraying, use the powers of magnetism...
  • Paris impossibles (a mixture of science, magic... and witchcraft?):
At first glance, these challenges seem impossible. Clues are given and everyone puts in their two cents. You find a clue, you try, you play! Little by little, you'll master fifteen or so tricks that show that anything is possible in life. There are no losers: every secret is revealed.
Use static electricity to make a can roll, undo ties in a single movement, make soap bubbles bounce, deflect air from its trajectory, levitate confetti...
  • Enigmas that drive you mad (or when the illogical becomes logical) :
When intuition and common sense play tricks on you! With material reminiscent of medieval times, a succession of short scenarios that put your brain to the test.
The mystery of Syracuse, making a Möbius strip, solving the Fort Boyard sticks game, thwarting optical illusions, the box puzzle, the hypnotic circle...
  • In pursuit of Professor Mad (the scientific, enigmatic & chemical escape game!):
Our teacher, Professor Oxymor, has been kidnapped by Professor Mad. A vial has gone missing and the lab is now booby-trapped. It's up to us to foil all this by using our genius.
Find the right products based on clues, detect hidden messages, search the room, test different mixtures, guess the identity of an ingredient using our 5 senses, show our skill...

How does it work?

Each experience offers :

  • A "spectator" part - A "wow! ". It's a spectacular moment to see or do.
  • A "researcher" part - A questioning part. What is this product? How does it work? Why does it work? You smell a substance, create an effect... Or you think about the enigma posed. The presenter lets you find out, then gives clues. It's important to remember that the teacher takes all the time and effort needed to ensure that everyone really understands and masters the phenomenon.
  • An "inventor" part - An initiative. Everyone tests, invents. We guess the identity of an ingredient, create different effects, give ideas. We manipulate, we assemble! We owe you the truth: sometimes a participant comes up with an idea that the facilitator hadn't even thought of.
  • Finally, a " fun teaching" part - A learning experience.

Examples of enigmatic tests for young and old alike

  • Understand why this match starts hopping over another match, without any tricky equipment or invisible thread.
    (First clue given: plate tectonics)
  • Play to understand the laws of balance and gravity (First clue given: weight, size and surface area!)
  • Use 2 magnets to create a bridge of crazy powder in this bottle.
  • Find out which 2 ingredients will extinguish a candle from a distance, without blowing it out, of course.

Today, we're going to prove this principle through laughter and games. The participants will amaze themselves, and will be delighted by the effects and manipulations they produce.
It's true, we're going to rack our brains... but in a relaxed, good-natured atmosphere. Above all, we're going to do it by challenging ourselves, by playing, by looking and by cooperating!
