Caféology workshop - Discovery and tasting Group activity

Then why not join the l'Orbe du café association on a caffeology workshop entitled "From the ancestral plant to your cup".

For 2 hours, our journey will take you on a discovery and presentation of the production process in the form of a private tasting of speciality coffee.

You'll learn about the history of coffee and how to roast it...

Your taste buds will be amazed by this black gold, accompanied by our péï sweets.

Designed in a friendly, sharing format, you'll discover coffee like never before at our partner "la Varanda des Zartists" and savour its flavours.

Theoretical approach to coffee & tasting: 2h

- Discovery and history

- How it is roasted

- Different types of extraction

Coffee tasting in the form of a participatory extraction workshop:

- 100% Arabica & 100% Robusta varieties

- Coffee selection

- Grinding, use of the manual grinder and settings

- French Press: use and extraction

Tasting of pei mignardises, fresh fruit juice and mineral water.

This is a unique workshop on Réunion Island, so don't hesitate to come and relax, while leaving with a wealth of knowledge about coffee.
