Tango is a social dance and a rioplatense genre born at the end of the 19th century.

As a rhythmic form, it most often refers to a rather marked two- or four-count measure, but with a wide range of tempos and rhythmic styles that vary greatly according to the era and the orchestra.

Tango as a musical genre encompasses three musical forms on which the tango steps are traditionally danced: tangos, milongas and waltzes. The bandoneon, integrated into tango orchestras, which are mainly made up of stringed instruments, is traditionally the leading instrument in tango.

In case of a higher level, booking this course gives access to the "Intermediate" and/or "Advanced" courses.
